Choosing Rod V/S Track for Curtains

Rods: Measure your window's width and add 4-6 inches to account for the hardware for a more personalized look with curtain rods. Tracks: Choose a curtain track that is 15-25cm to the left and right of the window width to draw back curtains on either side.

Rod: The higher the curtain rod is, the taller the window will appear, so it should sit 4-6 inches above the window frame. Tracks: Measure 10 centimeters above the window frame and add 10 centimeters extra width if room allows. Cut track to length, follow instructions.

The track should be pushed inside the clam and held by J hooks in the shape of a clam. When the end cap is put on, all the J hooks of the track should be put inside it, then the curtain can be easily put in hooks on its valcro.

Rods: Powder coated MS rods are available in 8-10 colors, including chocolate, golden, bronze, black, and off white. Tracks: Curtain tracks are made from either plastic or metal and are used to hang and draw curtains that have heading tape. You can't use eyelet curtains or tab top curtains with a curtain track.
